Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Two of her earliest television performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed the character. Her parents, however, did not let her perform until she turned an adult due to the impact stress might be able to have on their daughter. Perry shy and shy for acting in high school, started to act in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry left for New York, where she got small roles on shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The feeling of homesickness caused Perry her back home California which was where theatre jobs were in demand. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry played a lead role in nine episodes of the ABC drama The Family. In 2017, Perry starred in the role of a political thriller Scandal alongside her father. In the same year, she portrayed a child character based on Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory), portraying her mother as a young version. The actress was chosen for the role in spite of her strong familial connection to the character.
