Ina Garten, an American writer of cookery cookbooks as well as Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina Garten started her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budgetary papers. Although she found her job to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she dropped interest and purchased a small speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. She spent eighteen years making her store very successful, before selling it as well as grabbing the pen to write her first cookbook. Others followed, and so the magazine column. Later, the Food Network television show too made its debut and became a hit. In addition, she sells everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina is an untrained cook who has not attended an cooking class, or worked in a kitchen. Ina is known for her easy approach to cooking and effortless take on entertainment.
