Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress best known for playing Margo in 'The Magicians'' a Syfy television series of fantasy and drama that ran between 2015 and the present. Her previous work was recognized for playing the role of the 13-year-old girl from Lebanon, Jasira Maroun. She is subject to turbulent personal struggles against the background of the U.S. war in Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film "Towelhead". The year 2007 saw her selected in a poll by Variety to be one of the "10 leading actors to watch". She was also a key character, Taslima Jahangir, in the 2009 film 'Crossing Over', a crime-drama 'Crossing Over', in which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award' in the 'Best Female lead' category.
