Hayley orrantia is a native of the US. She's primarily an actress, but also an acrobat and songwriter. Her most well-known characters includes Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' a comedy TV show. However, she considers herself primarily a musician. Music is her first love that she insists on; it's something she has dabbled at when she was nine years old. By the time she turned 12 years old, music was serious enough for her to start training professionally. The year 2013 saw her take the plunge into songwriting and made her debut album. Since then, there's never a moment to rest. Orrantia is a native American with Hispanic origins. While she has never lived in or spoken Spanish in Mexico, she still feels strongly proud of her Hispanic heritage. In order to maintain her heritage, she's learned Spanish and composed songs using the language. One of her attempts was a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. Orrantia received 4 "yeses" by the judges at the Seattle live auditions after getting selected based on her YouTube submission. The first time she auditioned, she was for "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were brought together for auditions of the rest of her music. The group was eliminated at conclusion of the fifth performance.
